Hear from some of our past GCSE Maths students

  • “My experience with the GCSE Maths programme was really good.

The lessons were professional but relaxed, which made me feel comfortable asking questions, even ones that might seem obvious.

When I started the course, I was working at around a Grade 4, and by the end I achieved a Grade 8 in my final results.

Out of the tutors I’ve had before, I would say this course was by far the best.”

  • “Difficult topics were broken down into simple, easy to follow steps, which made everything much clearer.

When I joined I was stuck at a Grade 5, but at the end, I was able to achieve a Grade 8 in my final exams.

The guidance and support really boosted my confidence going into the exam.

I’d highly recommend this programme to anyone who wants to improve their GCSE Maths grade.”

  • “The lessons were genuinely a lifesaver for me, it was the only reason I got from a Grade 5 to a Grade 7 in GCSE maths.

The sessions were explained in a way that actually made sense, and the teaching never felt intimidating.

Unlike other tuition I’d tried, this programme focused on understanding how marks are really given in exams.

The exam focus made all the difference, and I’m extremely grateful for the programme.”

Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

  • During the 30-minute consultation, we take the time to understand your child’s current level, target grade, and any specific challenges they are facing in GCSE Maths.

We will walk you through how our programme works, explain whether it is the right fit for your child, and answer any questions you may have.

If the programme is suitable, we will outline the next steps to enrol.

If it is not the right fit, we will be honest and recommend the most appropriate alternative support.

  • On average, students who fully engage see a 2–3 grade improvement.

Individual results vary based on effort, attendance, and starting point.

  • At the start of the programme, every student completes a baseline assessment to accurately establish their current working grade. At the end of the programme, students complete a final assessment under exam style conditions to measure progress.

If there is not a minimum improvement of at least one full GCSE grade between the baseline and final assessment, we will refund your programme fee in full.

This guarantee is valid provided the student attends a minimum of 10 out of the 12 training sessions and actively engages with the programme as intended.

  • Sessions are taught in small groups (4-6 students) so that students have individual attention as well as having the benefits of group study.

  • The investment into your child’s education typically starts at around £200 and can range up to £1,000 for the full programme.

This depends on the level of support required and the structure that best suits your child.

During the consultation call, we will explain the available options clearly and help you decide which programme is the most appropriate fit.

  • We encourage students to attend all lessons to maximise their grade improvement.

Regular attendance is key to getting the full benefit of the programme.

If a student is unable to attend a session, the lesson is recorded and made available so they can catch up in their own time.

  • Our tutors come from a range of backgrounds:

Some have formal teaching experience, others come from either specialised tuition companies or have tutored students themselves.

All tutors are fully trained in our exam-focused methodology, have proven results tutoring students and have a valid DBS.

  • We focus on exam technique first, mark scheme patterns, and how GCSE Maths is actually assessed, rather than just reteaching content.

Our focus is on the aspects that affect grades the most in order to deliver the largest grade increase.

  • We specialise primarily in Edexcel GCSE Maths, as it is the most widely taken exam board.

That said, the underlying maths content is the same across all exam boards.

Our teaching focuses on core mathematical principles and exam techniques that transfer seamlessly between specifications

Students studying AQA or OCR can still benefit fully from the programme without any issues.
